Set to launch in early 2008, the Knowledge Network aims to unify the resources and collaborative exchange for the field of Digital Media and Learning.
Key features will include:

An index and distribution hub to share and develop key resources in the field, including developing a collective policy agenda, distributing research, sharing media strategies, curriculum, downloadable media tools, and recommended URLs. All organized by tags.   Connecting developers with scholars and policymakers through exclusive gatherings at public conferences and through online networks. News coverage of conferences, topic-driven group listservs and blogs, a database of organizations, and a calendar of events.

For any author, keyword, or community of practice, visitors to the Knowledge Network can establish an automated "alert." Through this functionality, a user can be informed every time their favorite academic posts mention of a new paper.   We are seeking other institutions to join our network. Selected institutions -- ranging from think tanks to TV networks -- will bring their expertise to bear on aggregating and highlighting the very best from their vital domains. Know a good candidate? Invite them to contact us.
