With MacArthur support, the Center for Urban School Improvement at the University of Chicago is running an after-school program with a number of Chicago public schools to help build the digital media skills of Chicago's urban young people. Here are some examples of content created by these young people:

A follow up to  the ground breaking NPR documentary and book of two boys from Chicago's south side and their stories of growing up in the Ida B. Wells housing projects. Three North Kenwood/Oakland middle school students take an updated look at the current state of these housing projects and explore the longterm effects of the killing of Eric Morse on the community. As shown in the original documentary, Eric Morse was a 5 year old boy who was dropped from a four story window by two 11 year olds.
